BACKGROUND OF THE PROJECT:

• Project - Doubling of Railway Track between Ludhiana and Kila Raipur including 25kV High Rise One Railway Electrification and Signaling & Telecommunication works on Engineering Procurement & Construction(EPC) mode.
• Length - 17.174 kms.
• Cost of project - Rs. 173 Cr. (approx).

The alignment of Ludhiana to Kila Raipur involves construction of Bridges, Retaining wall, ROB, LHS, Station building, Residential quarters.

This project involves 3 Major Bridges, 32 Minor Bridges, 01 ROB's, 2 FOBs and approximately 18 kms. of Retaining wall.

Chainage 1.010 km starts from LDH Railway Station.

Chainage 17.174 kms ends at Kila Raipur Railway Station.

Drainage along the Railway line: 5136 m.
